A true conservationist is a man who knows
that the world is not given by his fathers
but borrowed from his children.

About Us

We were founded and led the conservation effort in Gwinnett County, a suburban community northeast of Atlanta, Georgia.  We are a local, non-profit conservation organization, committed to the preservation of open and greenspace in the Piedmont region of Georgia. We are led by a board of directors who believe that protected natural and open spaces are essential for healthy communities, positive quality of life and the habitat that wildlife depends upon.

For eleven years we have built a broad-based effort, with support from long-term and recently arrived residents. along with real estate, business, and other segments of the community.

As a land trust, we operate under accepted Standards and Practices developed by the Land Trust Alliance.
